FightCamp Accuracy & Technique Workouts
Overview
Accuracy is a FightCamp metric designed to help members improve their boxing technique through real-time form feedback. It is used during Technique Workouts, where punch execution is actively tracked and evaluated.
Unlike standard workouts that focus on speed, power, and conditioning, technique workouts prioritize correct form, sequencing, and punch mechanics.
What is Accuracy?
Accuracy is a FightCamp metric that provides real-time feedback on your punch technique during Technique Workouts.
Unlike standard workouts that focus on speed and power, Technique Workouts actively track whether you perform each punch correctly.
How Accuracy Works
During a Technique Workout, the combo display becomes active and evaluates every punch you throw.
Each punch falls into one of the following categories:
Green – Perfect: Correct hand thrown with proper form
Yellow – Good: Correct hand thrown, but form needs improvement or the wrong punch was thrown
Red – Miss: Incorrect hand thrown
Only Perfect (Green) punches earn output and points.
How Accuracy Is Calculated
Accuracy is shown as a percentage using the formula:
Accuracy % = Perfect Combos ÷ Total Combos Thrown
You can view your Accuracy:
Between rounds during the workout
In the post-workout performance breakdown
What Are Technique Workouts?
Technique Workouts are designed to help you slow down and focus on proper form and execution.
These workouts emphasize:
Correct punch mechanics
Clean punch sequencing
Proper punch paths
While the pace is more controlled, Technique Workouts are still physically demanding. Maintaining good form under fatigue is part of the training.
FightCamp trainers provide cues and corrections throughout the workout to help you adjust in real time.
Benefits of Training With Accuracy
Training with proper technique can help you:
Generate more power
Increase punch and combination speed
Improve balance and coordination
Reduce injury risk
Move more efficiently
Common Technique Issues
Hands dropping between punches Hands should return to guard after each punch. Dropping your hands can cause punches to start from the wrong position and may register as incorrect.
Hooks vs. uppercuts
Uppercuts require the elbow to stay tucked with a vertical punch path
Hooks require the elbow to lift with a rounded punch path
Mixing these mechanics may cause punches to be identified incorrectly.
Tip: Using a mirror or recording a short video of your workout can help you identify and correct form issues.
Compatibility & Requirements
Accuracy is available only to users with a FightCamp Console.
Technique Workouts are available in the FightCamp app

Key Takeaway
Technique Workouts aren’t about perfection; they’re about progress. Accuracy helps you identify mistakes, make real-time adjustments, and build stronger fundamentals over time.
